The perlite crushing and drying production line consists of three steps: First, a vibrating feeder evenly feeds large pieces of raw ore into a jaw crusher for coarse crushing, followed by fine crushing to a standard particle size of 0.15-0.5mm using a hammer crusher. Then, the finely crushed material enters a dryer for preheating and dehydration at 200-400℃, removing 4%-6% of the moisture from the raw ore to prevent cracking during subsequent processing. Finally, the material is screened by a vibrating screen; qualified material enters the finished product bin, while unqualified material is returned to the crusher for recycling. A dust removal system is installed throughout the process to ensure environmentally friendly production.
After crushing and drying, perlite becomes more versatile and practical. In the construction industry, it is often made into insulation boards and wall fillers, providing lightweight thermal insulation for building walls and roofs, which is both environmentally friendly and reduces energy consumption. In the chemical industry, it is a high-quality filter aid, helping to filter impurities in food processing and petroleum purification, resulting in purer products.
