Dehydration of bean dregs: The moisture content of freshly produced bean dregs is usually more than 80%, and direct drying is inefficient and costly. Therefore, before drying, a bean dregs dehydrator is required to mechanically squeeze and dehydrate to remove some moisture. This step reduces the moisture content of bean dregs to about 55%~60%, laying the foundation for the subsequent drying process.
Drying of bean dregs:The dehydrated bean dregs are transported to the dryer through a conveyor. In the dryer, the bean dregs will form a uniform material curtain under the action of a special device, and fully contact with the hot air generated by the hot air furnace. The hot air will quickly evaporate the moisture in the bean dregs to achieve the purpose of drying.
The appropriate temperature and time need to be controlled during the drying process. Too high a temperature may cause the dregs to burn, while too low a temperature will affect the drying effect. Generally speaking, the drying temperature will be controlled within a certain range (such as around 150°C), and the time will be determined according to the initial moisture content of the dregs and the performance of the drying equipment.
The temperature of the dried dregs is high, and cooling equipment can be used for rapid cooling; the cooled dregs can be stored in a dry, ventilated, and light-proof place. During storage, attention should be paid to moisture-proof, mildew-proof, and insect-proof to ensure the quality and hygienic safety of the dregs.
