Main applications of distillers grains
1. Feed processing: After enzymatic hydrolysis or fermentation of distiller's grains, the separated organic matter can be made into high-end protein feed, solving the problem of high prices of traditional feed raw materials such as soybean meal.
2. Industrial raw material extraction: Rice husks are converted into cellulose through enzyme catalysis, which is used to produce cultural paper and painting pulp; straw is converted into bio-based fiber, which is used in textiles, building materials and other fields.

Wine lees recycling process:
Liquid wine lees (such as beer lees and alcohol waste liquid) are separated into filter residues (containing solids) and clear liquid using centrifuges, horizontal spiral separators or suction filtration equipment.
Solid distiller's grains (such as white distiller's grains) are separated from rice husks by wet or dry methods: the wet method uses a distiller's grain separator to mix with water and then dehydrate, and the dry method recovers rice husks by drying, squeezing, and air separation.
The separated wet distiller's grains are processed by a distiller's grain dryer, and hot air (coal, natural gas and other heat sources) is used to make the distiller's grains fully contact with hot air in a rotating drum, and the moisture content is reduced to below 15%, which is convenient for subsequent processing.
