Nickel sludge is nickel-containing sludge produced in industrial processes such as nickel smelting, electroplating, and battery recycling. It has the characteristics of complex composition, high water content (usually 60%-85%), and high heavy metal content.
Based on the natural properties and drying requirements of laterite nickel ore, Dingli has launched a complete set of professional drying equipment for laterite nickel ore through continuous technological innovation. It is mainly composed of a hot air furnace, a feeding conveyor, a drum dryer, a discharging conveyor, an induced draft fan, a cyclone dust collector, a bag dust collector (or a wet dust collector) and an operation control system. The equipment adopts the downstream drying process, and its working principle is as follows:
1. Material guide area, porcelain clay enters this area and contacts with high-temperature hot air to quickly evaporate moisture, and the material is guided into the next working area under the large guide angle of the material guide plate;
2. Copying plate area, porcelain clay is picked up by the copying plate in this area to form a material curtain state. At this time, the material is fully in contact with the hot air, and the moisture in the porcelain clay is quickly evaporated and peeled off to become water vapor, which is then drawn away by the induced draft fan, thereby achieving the purpose of drying porcelain clay; porcelain clay is dried in this area into a loose state with a moisture content of less than 5% (or lower). After heat exchange, the material reaches the required moisture state and enters the final discharge area;
3. Discharge area, the drum is not equipped with a copying plate in this area, and the material rolls and slides to the discharge port in this area to complete the entire drying process.
