Coconut bran dryer is designed according to the characteristics of coconut bran materials. It has the advantages of high degree of automation, energy saving and environmental protection, stable operation, long working time, large processing output and high working efficiency. The following are the general steps of coconut bran drying:

1. Pretreatment: Coconut bran raw materials usually contain a certain amount of moisture and impurities, and need to be pretreated, such as cleaning, screening, etc., to remove impurities and adjust the moisture content.

2. Conveying and feeding: The pretreated coconut bran is fed into the drum of the dryer by the conveyor. Special devices are usually installed inside the drum to prevent uneven drying of coconut bran.

3. Heat exchange and drying: The coconut bran in the drum is heat exchanged under the action of hot air to evaporate moisture. Hot air is usually provided by an efficient and energy-saving hot air furnace, and the fuel can be natural gas, diesel, coal, wood, straw, rice husk, etc. The hot air furnace generates oxygen-depleted hot flue gas with a temperature of up to 500~650℃. After precipitation and ash removal, it is sucked into the dryer rear induced draft fan for drying materials and evaporating moisture.

4. Drying and discharging: Coconut bran is continuously picked up and scattered in the drum, moving forward in a spiral manner, passing through the inner, middle and outer layers to achieve full drying. The coconut bran that has achieved the drying effect quickly moves out of the drum under the action of wind and is discharged by the screw conveyor.

After drying, coconut bran has many uses, mainly including the following aspects:

1. Horticultural substrate: Coconut bran is a new type of environmentally friendly substrate that has been widely used in recent years. It has good air permeability and water retention. It can be used for soil cultivation of flowers and vegetables, and can also be used as a soilless cultivation substrate.

2. Animal breeding: Dried coconut bran can also be used to lay eggs and keep reptiles warm.

3. Agricultural application: Coconut bran can be used as an organic fertilizer or soil conditioner to increase the fertility and water retention capacity of the soil.

4. Industrial raw materials: Coconut bran can also be used as a raw material for certain industrial products, such as making biomass pellets, biomass plastics, etc.
