Wood Chips Dryer is developed from the rotary drum dryer. Dingli Machinery has much experience in the drying of wood chips/wood shavings on the base of many years' research and actual experience.

As the wood chips/wood shavings contains much humidity up to 45% which is not suitable for the use. Dingli Machinery engineers design the new type wood chips dryer according to the features of the wood chips/wood shavings.

Wood chips dryer can reduct the humidity of wood chips to be less than 13% from 45%. The dried wood chips can be used as raw material to make biomass fuel such as wood pellets.

Wood Chips Dryermainly consists of a horizontally inclined rotating cylinder, air duct tube, hor air furnace, highpressuredraught fan, electric control box, etc.

Wet wood chipsare fedat the feed inlet hole, and discharged at the dischaging hole.It isdirect-type heated rotary dryers, hot gases move through the cylinder in direct contact with thewet wood chips,either with or against the direction ofthe wood chips' moving direction. The cylinder is equipped with lifting plates which lift the wood chips,and shower it up anddown through the hot flue gas.
