Working Principle of Limestone Mill

Limestone mill can be used to grind many kinds of raw materials such as limestone, barite, gypsum, talc, dolomite, etc. Limestone mill is one type of raymond mill.

After being grinded by the limestone grinding mill, the powder fineness can be from 40 mesh to 325 mesh. The powder fineness can be adjuted by the analyzer machine continuously.

The limestone mill working principle is as follows:

1. Limestone is crushed by jaw crusher or hammer crusher to the size required which is suitable for theLimestone Mill.

2. Then the crushed limestone are elevated into a hopper by bucket elevator from which the limestone is transported through the electro-magnetic vibrating feederevenly and continuously into the grinding chamber forlimestone grinding mill. The rollers oscillate outward to press the ring because of the centrifugal force and the shovel scoops up the limestone, send to the middle between ring and roller to accomplish the grind.

3. After this, the ground limestone are carried by the air from the blower into the powder separator (Analyzer Machine) for screening. The fine limestone powders are blow into the cyclone powder collector and are poured out through the output-powder valve as the final products, and the corase limestone after the screening will be recycled back into the grinding chamber for regrinding. The set’s airflow system is closely sealed up and circulated under condition of negative and positive pressure.
