Wood Chips Drum Dryer by Dingli Machinery can deal with up to moisture 50% fresh wood chips directly. After being dried by the wood chips drum dryer, the moisture content of the wood chips can be less than 15%, or even "Bone Dry".
Wood Chips Drum Dryer is updated from the rotary drum dryer. On the base of the rotary drum dryer, Dingli Machinery engineer makes many updates to make the wood chips dryer to be more suitable for drying the wood chips.
What is more, considering the fuel cost, Dingli Machinery engineer designed one new type hot air furnace which can use waste wood and wood chips as the fuel, thus it will save much money for the clients.
How does the Wood Chips Drum Dryer to dry the wet wood chips ?
Firstly we use belt conveyor to sends the wet wood chips into the wood chip dryer.
Hot air furnace supply the hot air for the wood chips drying system, and the big rotary drum supply the drying chamber for the wood chip drying system.
Inside the drum of the wood chips drum dryer, the hot air can be moves in same direction or opposite direction with the wood chips. The wet wood chips is heated by the hot air, and the moisture is evaporated into water vapour, and finally goes out of the wood chips dryer.
In order to enhance the heat exchange efficiency between the wood chips and hot air. many lifting boards are welded on the inner wall of the wood chips drum dryer. When the wood chips drum dryer is rotating, these lifting boards mixes the wood chips and hot air together.
At the end of the wood chips drying system, there is one high pressure draft fan. Under the function of the high pressure draft fan, the water vapour is sucked out of the rotary dryer.
