Flowing hot air as heat carrier directly contacts with wet materials and conducts heat to them, then brings away the evaporated water. While the indirect drying mainly relies on the heating carrier, the heating carrier can dry wet materials.
If you select the stainless steel to make the diabetic and electric devices, ways to count the areas of heat transfer will be based on the heat conduction and transfer of stainless steel. Compared with the heat-transfer coefficient of steel carbon, it is much higher than that of stainless steel.
