A petroleum coke drying project in Yicheng, Hubei—constructed by Dingli Group—has successfully entered production. Designed for a finished-product processing capacity of 5 tons per hour (t/h), the system reliably reduces the moisture content of the raw material from 12%–15% to below 5%, providing a dependable solution for enhancing the quality of the client’s petroleum coke and facilitating its downstream utilization.

As a significant by-product of the oil refining process, petroleum coke is widely used in sectors such as fuel and carbon production, where its moisture content directly impacts its calorific value and processing quality. Addressing the client’s specific requirements for drying capacity and final moisture levels, Dingli Group leveraged its expertise in the characteristics of petroleum coke to provide a complete drying system. This system ensures continuous, stable, and efficient operations, achieving a processing capacity of 5 t/h and consistently reducing raw material moisture from 12%–15% to ≤5%—meeting all technical acceptance criteria.
