Recently, the equipment installation and commissioning for the sweet potato residue drying project in Sinan, Guizhou—undertaken by the Dingli Group—was successfully completed. The project has now officially entered the production phase, serving as an exemplary model for the resource utilization of by-products within the domestic tuber deep-processing industry.
Located in Sinan, Guizhou, this project is a specialized drying facility for sweet potato residue, developed to address the local need for the resource recovery and processing of such by-products. The raw material—sweet potato residue with a moisture content of up to 70%—requires professional drying equipment for dewatering. The system is designed with a capacity of 260 tons per 24 hours, enabling continuous, large-scale drying operations. Following the drying process, the moisture content of the sweet potato residue is reduced to below 13%, meeting the standards required for stable storage, transport, and subsequent utilization. Once completed, the project will effectively lower the moisture content of the residue, facilitating its collection, storage, and comprehensive repurposing—for instance, as animal feed.
